Caterpillar’s Treasury Technology Team within Corporate Treasury is a global, dynamic group that combines treasury expertise with innovative technology to deliver impactful solutions across the Caterpillar enterprise. This team is uniquely positioned to be at the forefront of treasury technology and is looking to hire a Treasury Technology Manager to create the vision and lead the change in support of the Treasury technology strategy. What You Will Do:
- Provide User Support: The incumbent manages a team that supports Treasury systems, including FIS Quantum, Trax, and eBAM, as well as related interfaces with other systems and applications. The user base is global and represents both business units and regional treasury centers (RTCs). Incumbent demonstrates good business skills and judgment by ensuring timely resolution of user issues, including executing the necessary support escalations to deliver support with priority.
- Lead Software Upgrades/Maintenance: The incumbent leads software upgrades to deliver enhanced functionality and periodic system maintenance to support risk management and compliance. Coordinates Treasury process owner and RTC engagement to evaluate and deliver enhancement projects and demonstrates courage and emotional intelligence when engaging with vendor resources to accomplish the same.
- Drive Compliance and Controls: The incumbent ensures proper controls and governance processes are established and executed to minimize security risks linked to treasury operations and to comply with applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Demonstrates our values and enterprise behavior by ensuring that proper safeguards and controls are in place to protect against fraudulent access.
- Guide Business Process Development: The incumbent collaborates with treasury business process owners to evaluate and deploy business process improvements globally. Demonstrates intellectual curiosity when engaging with various user groups to understand business requirements and facilitates continuous improvement and innovation. Works closely with enterprise business partners to expand SWIFT bank connectivity and extend Trax interfaces within the enterprise.
- Implement New Technologies: The incumbent leads technology implementation projects, coordinating internal and external vendor resources. Collaborates with treasury process owners in the evaluation of technology solution alternatives and makes recommendations.
- Lead a Team of Talented Treasury Tech Professionals: The incumbent recruits and develops the best talent. Leads a team of management / professional employees where monitoring and reviewing subordinates’ work is required as well as training, developing, and mentoring.

Top Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree within an IT/IS or business-related field such as Finance.
- 6-8 years of job-related experience.
- Demonstrated experience with treasury management systems, such as FIS Quantum, Trax, and eBAM, including their implementation, maintenance, and user support.
- Proven experience working within a Corporate Treasury environment, with a focus on managing financial assets, risk mitigation, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of company policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, combined with advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, sound judgment, and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to take initiative and operate autonomously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively address sensitive issues, mentor and develop team members, and influence stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment and action.
- Demonstrated aptitude for business process design and leveraging technology to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.
- Resilience and composure in high-pressure situations, with the ability to prioritize and make decisions under stress.

Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
