ADP is hiring a
Sr. Director, Business Transformation to help shape the future of our HR Outsourcing (HRO) business. Reporting to the Vice President of Data Analytics and Business Transformation, you’ll lead enterprise-wide initiatives that reimagine how we operate, organize, and deliver for clients.
In this role, you’ll partner with senior leaders to drive transformation across operating model and organization design, process improvement, technology adoption, and GenAI-enabled innovation. You will also serve as a leader of leaders, guiding a multi-level team of directors, managers, and individual contributors while building a culture of growth, collaboration, and high performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

A strategic leader with the ability to guide transformative initiatives through vision, collaboration, and data-driven insights. You bring expertise in business transformation, program management, AI innovation, change leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Your focus will be on aligning strategic initiatives with executive priorities while leading high-impact projects across the organization.
What You Can Expect On a Typical Day
Strategic Leadership, Execution & Delivery
- Translate complex business problems into actionable strategies and roadmaps, and lead development of transformation project execution, ensuring clarity of scope, ownership, and measurable outcomes.
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., automation, GenAI, and advanced analytics) to modernize operations and enhance employee and client experiences.
- Scan industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices to inform transformation approaches and keep ADP at the forefront of HR outsourcing innovation.
Program & Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and upskill a diverse team of leaders and associates to deliver a portfolio of initiatives including change & adoption, organizational design, operating model design, operational excellence, and technology implementation.
- Establish transformation frameworks and toolkits (e.g., change management, process excellence, operating model design) that can be applied consistently across the organization.
- Build and sustain an inclusive, high-performance culture through coaching, continuous feedback, and career development.
Collaboration & Influence
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing decisions and shaping enterprise transformation.
- Partner with business leaders from across the HRO to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives and align on outcomes.
- Act as a connector across functions, ensuring alignment, clarity of responsibilities, and shared accountability for results.
To Succeed In This Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in management consulting, strategy, or business transformation experience with F300 clients
- Extensive experience simplifying complex topics and coaching, guiding and upskilling at both senior and junior associate levels and encouraging them to take ownership of their personal development
- Track record of driving large-scale organizational change initiatives.
- Strong background in technology-led transformation, including automation, analytics, or AI adoption.
- Strong communication (written / verbal), storytelling, and interpersonal skills to distill complex concepts and create compelling narratives to influence at all levels (Senior Leaders to front-line associates)
- Ability to negotiate effectively with stakeholders on critical program decisions
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel technical skills
- Deep familiarity with AI-driven business transformation and a passion to stay on top of GenAi or AI-driven trends
- Preference given to candidates with heavy Human Capital Management (HCM) industry knowledge
- Travel up to 25% domestically as needed.
