As a member of the Executive Protection team, you’ll be responsible for greeting in-person visits to our top executives, and their administrative assistants. You'll oversee access to top executive office space and coordinate schedules and provide administrative support for the Event Security and Special Services team. You’ll operate with flexibility and independence while using sound judgement, high attentiveness professionalism.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary contact for the top executive floor(s), by facilitating visitor entry and exit.
Provides travel planning and coordination along with administrative support for the Event Security and Special Services team.
Cultivates relationships on the top executive floor(s) to understand and determine ways to improve office experience and protection.
Assists with projects and communication for Protective Services organization.
Transports and/or coordinates movement within the top executive floor(s).
Serves as the emergency incident coordinator for the top executive floors.
Assists with office activities and operations, including providing back-up support for other administrative professionals on the floor.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Director, Executive Protection Services. This is an individual contributor role.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in business administration or related subject area preferred.
Experience: Typically, five or more years of administrative assistant, office management or security experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Must be familiar with all laws governing private security as well as demonstrated knowledge of executive or high-profile security programs for life/safety and property protection. Must be familiar with corporate security policies and procedures. Able to conduct risk assessments, threat management, and develop and carry out security countermeasures and protection plans. Able to de-escalate threats or situations in a calm, effective manner. Able to direct security associates in a variety of emergency situations as well as remain calm during high stress situations. Must possess basic law enforcement skills, including communication, first responder techniques, crime scene investigation, care and operation of firearms, and progressive use of force. Excellent communications skills with internal teams, executives, and external audiences.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resource Business Partner.
