About the Role:
The Salesforce Services Consultant is passionate about Salesforce technology and how it is leveling up organizations in terms of data management, AI, and customer experience. This senior role will work with organizations to understand the services support they need to make their Salesforce roadmap a reality.
A successful Salesforce Services Consultant brings a unique combination of executive-level presence and technical expertise that ensures ListEngage services, backed by Salesforce technology, delivers value to our clients. The Salesforce Services Consultant is an integral liaison between our Sales and Services Delivery teams. The role requires an expert-level knowledge of the Salesforce Clouds (Sales/Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, Marketing Cloud) as well as an understanding of the technology landscape that Salesforce is part of: data warehouses, data lakehouses, ecommerce platforms, analytics platforms, BI tools, etc.
The Salesforce Services Consultant must be technical, innovative, and business savvy. This senior role is responsible for supporting the sales process with expert guidance on the best technical solution for clients, based on stated requirements, technology roadmap, budget considerations, and the existing technology stack.
Working with the Sales team, the Salesforce Services Consultant will document their recommendations, present them to clients, and assist with winning client business. Downstream, the Salesforce Services Consultant will work with the Services Delivery team to ensure that the solution vision is understood and executed.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead technical discovery sessions with clients

Evangelize Salesforce technology, powered by ListEngage services

Create compelling demos and proposals
-
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Delivery, Operations, Marketing), and Salesforce partner teams, serving as a technical Subject Matter Expert, driving alignment on a technology roadmap that optimizes clients’ businesses

Spearhead client discovery sessions and workshops; understand the business and technical goals and speak to the art of the possible using Salesforce solutions and ListEngage services

Create proposed architecture solutions, and present them to clients, speaking to the technology as well as dependencies and what it looks like to build (timelines, phases, milestones, and deliverables)

Create detailed scoping documents

Write SOW language, internal documentation, and RFP responses

Create and deliver compelling Salesforce software demos

Build vertical-specific (Retail, Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences) points of view on the optimizing Salesforce solutions for their unique challenges

Support the Strategic Consultants with client presentations such as Quarterly Business Reviews

Stay up-to-date on the latest in digital technology, data management, and Salesforce features and capabilities
Education & Experience Requirements:
-
Experience in solutioning for Data, Analytics, AI, and CRM
-
Deep knowledge of Salesforce technology

Experience in understanding complex data architectures and methods for optimizing them
-
Data or platform migration experience
-
Three+ years of experience with Salesforce cloud applications in a senior role

Familiarity with data integration methods and tools such as: API, SFTP and Mulesoft, Boomi, Informatica, Skyvia, Dataloader.io

Familiarity with marketing technologies such as: ESPs, CRMs, CDPs, data lakehouses and warehouses, BI platforms, analytics platforms, inbox placement tools, ecommerce platforms, social listening/publishing tools, etc.
