What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the centralization of procurement and industry operations across 11 cement and 3 slag plants, to ensure standardization and efficiency
- Drive inventory optimization for digital procurement, replenishment strategies, and improved storage and accuracy
- Oversee SAP Source to Pay (S2P) processes, including contract development, scheduling agreements, and master data optimization
- Develop and implement stock strategies for critical parts MRP, including systems-driven cycle counts and vendor sourcing
- Collaborate with Group Category Leads to consolidate plant requirements and align sourcing strategies.
- Manage a regional team of 8-10 indirect reports, fostering leadership, compliance, and professional development
- Monitor supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure policy compliance across procurement activities
What Are We Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations leadership, preferably in heavy industry or manufacturing
- Proven ability to lead large scale procurement operations across multiple sites
- Extensive experience with SAP and procurement platforms such as Ariba
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and build trust with stakeholders at all levels
Work Environment
This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration across procurement, operations, and finance teams. Occasional travel may be required to support regional initiatives and supplier engagements.
