What You'll Be Doing
- Lead global strategy and negotiations for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME), including capital procurement, leasing, and OEM parts.
- Collaborate with regional and country teams to align procurement goals and identify bundling opportunities for cost savings.
- Conduct market benchmarking and data analysis to develop KPIs and optimize sourcing decisions.
- Manage North American HME procurement operations, ensuring vendor compliance, performance tracking, and technical support coordination.
- Drive digital sourcing initiatives and support ESG goals through sustainable procurement practices.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with safety, trade, and industry standards.
- Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Competency Centers, Finance, and Operations to align procurement with business priorities.
What Are We Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in procurement, equipment sourcing, and supplier management within industrial or construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of heavy mobile equipment, including capital procurement, leasing, and OEM parts.
- Skilled in market analysis, cost modeling, and developing data-driven sourcing strategies.
- Proven ability to lead negotiations, manage vendor performance, and drive cost optimization.
- Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- High adaptability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally to support global procurement operations.
Work Environment
This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment with a mix of office and field-based responsibilities. Collaboration across procurement, operations, and technical teams is essential. Occasional travel to plant and supplier locations is expected.
