Description
The Scientist II will play a key role in developing, executing, and optimizing cell-based assays and molecular biology techniques to support ongoing research. This is a hands-on, onsite laboratory role involving mammalian and iPSC-derived cell populations, automation platforms, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong wet lab experience, excellent record-keeping, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, executing, and troubleshooting new cell-based assays, protocols, and analysis methods.
Establish and document SOPs using automation platforms (BRAVO/Apricot) to increase assay throughput.
Design and execute experiments, interpret data, and communicate results and findings clearly to teams and stakeholders.
Support the maintenance and characterization of iPSC-derived cell populations, including immunocytochemistry, plate-based assays (Quanterix, Luminex, MSD), qPCR, and other molecular biology techniques.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory activities.
Collaborate effectively across functional areas to achieve project goals.
