What does a successful VP, Sales – Embedded Finance do at Fiserv?
As a successful VP, Sales – Embedded Finance, you will lead and scale our go-to-market strategy in the rapidly evolving landscape of Embedded Finance and Digital Assets. You will be a forward-thinking sales leader who thrives in innovation-driven environments and understands how to translate emerging financial technologies into tangible business growth.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on Embedded Finance, (e.g., BaaS, API-based solutions) and Digital Assets (e.g., crypto, tokenization, smart contracts)
- Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—while maintaining strong relationships across C-suite and enterprise clients
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals, training and mentoring to hit revenue targets
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal and Compliance to align go-to-market and client engagement strategies
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences and thought leadership platforms to drive market awareness and lead generation
- Forecast revenue, track pipeline metrics, and report progress to senior leadership with strategic insights
What you will need to have:
- 8+ years of sales experience in fintech, financial services, or crypto/digital asset platforms; with proven leadership experience
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and executive-level presentation skills
- Strong operational mindset—able to build scalable systems, workflows and reporting frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- MBA or relevant advanced degree.
- Deep understanding of embedded financial products and the digital asset ecosystem, including regulatory nuances and platform technologies
- Existing network within fintech, financial institutions, or digital asset partners in the US and/or globally is a major plus
