Boeing Intelligence and Analytics is looking for a Software/Systems Engineerto join a dynamic team supporting the Army OSINT Office.
As a member of the team, you are an integral part of a global force supporting our Warfighters at a time of strategic competition. On this program, you will translate customer needs into detailed requirements and develop integrated software and support processes enabling the transformation of information into intelligence for decision advantage.
Candidates must be able to adapt in an exciting, dynamic operational environment while maintaining relationships with stakeholders and customers.
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems with logical and mathematical solutions.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in planning, designing, and developing electronic data processing systems.
- Determine computer user needs, analyze system capabilities, and resolve problems related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable data flows between distributed systems.
- Apply expertise in Generative AI (large language models), machine learning, and advanced analytics to design novel solutions for mission problems.
- Implement solutions in multiple programming languages (Python, Java, Node.js, React/Vue, Rust, and others), choosing the best fit for performance, security, and maintainability.
- Engineer solutions leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Build, test, and deploy code using CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to improve software delivery speed and reliability.
- Develop and maintain applications in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, and related orchestration tools).
- Ensure software standards are met and analyze user needs and requirements for feasibility within time and cost constraints.
- Lead development of solutions for unprecedented and complex architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems.
- Direct development of verification test plans and procedures, exploring state-of-the-art methods, tools, and processes applicable to software evaluation and testing.
- Incorporate knowledge of non-attributable technologies to support mission-sensitive environments.
- Lead integration of new tools, processes, etc., to improve productivity and resolve complex embedded software and verification issues spanning functional domains, programs, and business units.
Advise management on a wide range of high-leverage embedded software, DevSecOps, and software verification issues, working independently.
