Social Media Manager:
Compensation - $50K- $55K
Location: Chicago (Hybrid 1-2 times a week North Chicago)
Must include a portfolio of past work (social media content designs)
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to oversee the online presence of our Rate Loan Officers across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and more. This role involves crafting and executing social media strategies, developing compelling personal branding, producing engaging content, and optimizing performance to enhance our Loan Officers’ digital presence. The Social Media Manager will also collaborate with the department director to communicate the Brand Lab services to the company, assist in the creation and execution of a company-wide social media course, and support executive administrative and scheduling tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Profile Management : Oversee the daily management and optimization of multiple Loan Officer profiles across various social media platforms.
Brand Development : Strategize and build a compelling personal brand for Loan Officers to increase visibility and engagement.
Content Creation : Design and produce high-quality content including static graphics, Reels, and multimedia assets using tools like Canva.
Social Media Strategy : Develop and maintain a social media calendar aligned with broader marketing strategies.
Audience Engagement : Drive engagement by actively posting, interacting with followers, and responding thoughtfully to comments.
Analytics & Reporting : Track performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to guide content and campaign decisions.
Industry Awareness : Stay current with trends, tools, and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
Training Support : Assist in delivering training and guidance to Loan Officers on social media best practices and digital branding.
Creative Ideation : Collaborate on innovative ideas to elevate the Loan Officer brand through creative campaigns and content.
Program Support : Work with the department director to help promote and sell the Brand Lab program to the company.
Course Development : Contribute to the planning and implementation of a company-wide social media course.
Administrative Support : Provide executive assistant and scheduling support as needed to the Brand Lab social media and production team.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media marketing and management.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
Strong creative writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand content.
Proficiency in major social media platforms and scheduling tools.
Strong graphic design skills, particularly using Canva.
A passion for social media and digital marketing.
Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus.
