Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Construction Oversight: Manage all phases of construction, including site preparation, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
- Project Planning: Develop and track schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Field Coordination: Direct subcontractors, trades, and vendors on-site; conduct site walks and oversee daily operations.
- Stakeholder Management: Interface with clients, utilities, inspectors, AHJs, and internal leadership to align project execution with requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to NEC, OSHA, NFPA, ADA, and company safety protocols.
- Risk Management: Identify construction-related risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Quality Control: Review drawings, submittals, and as-builts; verify installation meets engineering and design specifications.
- Financial Accountability: Manage contracts, vendor agreements, and change orders; track construction costs and margins.
- Reporting: Utilize SiteTracker and/or Oracle Unifier to provide dashboards, progress updates, and reports to leadership and clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- At least 7 years of project/construction management experience in electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, or commercial/industrial construction.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with EV charging systems, power distribution, microgrids, and utility coordination.
- Certification: PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Tools: Proficiency in SiteTracker, Oracle Unifier, and project scheduling platforms (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Travel: Ability to travel to project sites (up to 25%).
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Construction Management, or related).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent field certification.
- California Building Construction Engineering License A.
- Direct experience with EV charging deployments, microgrid projects, and design-build delivery methods.
- Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction management platforms.
- Additional certifications: LEED-AP, DBIA, or OSHA-30.
Pay: $74,000 – $137,800 Annually
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful
applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
