About your role:
As a Systems Engineering - Advisor II, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing Fiserv's complex systems infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure that these systems operate efficiently, reliably, and securely. You will work closely with a team of engineers, collaborating with various departments to align system capabilities with business needs, ultimately contributing to the company's strategic goals.
What you'll do:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of complex systems infrastructure.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems.
Conduct system assessments and implement security measures.
Provide advanced technical support and guidance to ensure system reliability.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in systems engineering.

Experience you'll need to have:
6+ years of experience in systems engineering
3+ years of experience with system design and implementation
3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows server environments
3+ years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
3+ years of experience with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform
3+ years of experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
6+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
Certifications AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
