What does a successful Director of Program Management do at Fiserv? You will deliver program outcomes within time, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction parameters for strategic initiatives. You will provide leadership, vision, strategic planning and support tactical execution plans, as programs typically cross multiple business areas and have a high degree of complexity and risk associated with them. You will ensure predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery while providing a holistic view of the overall program to the organization and all stakeholders.
What you will do:
- Lead, develop and manage projects and programs across business units that align with organizational goals.
- Utilize effective program management skills and tools to drive project delivery – actively participating rather than passively receiving.
- Lead the consolidation of legacy systems and migration of customers to future state systems.
- Serve as a liaison between Sales, Customer Support, Professional Services, Infrastructure (IT), Legal, and business units to ensure milestone achievement while providing a positive customer experience.
- Drive communication to ensure stakeholders understand the current state, the most pressing priorities, and the impact on the business.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and work with cross-functional teams to implement appropriate controls and mitigations.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes through automation and appropriate use of technology.
- Monitor, report, and present program performance, compliance status, and risk metrics to senior leadership.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
- 6+ years of experience in program or technical project management including Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- 8+ years of experience in program management within a Fortune 500 company.
- 6+ years of experience in successful project delivery and problem-solving.

- Experience leading a platform consolidation program within a Fortune 500 Company’s technology group.
- 8+ years of experience managing stakeholders with competing priorities and ensuring alignment is maintained throughout the effort.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Workday, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
