Description:You will be the Financial Mgmt for the Cost Accounting and Systems team. Our team is responsible for supporting various Accounting tasks and 1LMX ERP implementation.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Financial Mgmt, you will be responsible for performing basic Accounting functions, recording financial transactions, and utilizing software applications to provide supporting documentation. You will be part of a team that supports the implementation of 1LMX ERP and participates in special projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform basic Accounting functions including compiling financial information, processing journal entries, reconciliations, and analyzing data.
- Record, classify and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Utilize various software applications such as Excel and Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) to provide supporting documentation for schedules, data analysis and journal entries.
- Support ad-hoc requests for Corporate Audit, internal Audit, and customer questions.
- Participate in special projects and support 1LMX implementation as needed.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Prior accounting experience
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Desired Skills:• Experience with SAP
• CPA or CPA Candidate
• Knowledge of Missiles and Fire Control account number structure
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
