What does a successful Software Architecture - Advisor I do?
As a Software Architecture - Advisor I at Fiserv, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing software architecture strategies that support Fiserv's business objectives. Your expertise will ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of our software systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy software architecture solutions that meet the evolving needs of the financial services industry.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement software architecture strategies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure alignment between business objectives and software architecture.
- Provide guidance on software solutions and integration across multiple platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to enhance business performance.
- Create and maintain software architectural models, blueprints, and documentation.
- Mentor and support junior team members in software architecture best practices.
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in software architecture.
- 3+ years of experience in technology integration.
- 3+ years of experience in software solution design.
- 3+ years of experience with development and integration of software solutions using languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing microservices architecture.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 3+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry.

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
