Description:Join our Denver Dynamics team as a Technician Specialist, where you will play a critical role in supporting the assembly and testing of a wide range of spacecraft hardware subsystems and systems.
As a Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including mechanical integration of flight hardware to ground test equipment, monitoring dynamic testing activities, and creating unique test solutions to troubleshoot hardware issues. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Perform hands-on test setup, operations, and tear-down of acoustic, modal, shock, and vibration testing of developmental and flight spacecraft hardware.
• Fabricate and assemble unique test solutions, including fixture creation and modification, and instrumentation configuration.
• Maintain and repair laboratory ground processing equipment, including shaker systems and acoustic chambers.
• Collaborate with engineering and program customers to ensure successful test execution.
• Independently perform routine, non-routine, and moderately complex assignments.
• Be willing to support a flexible work schedule, including varying shifts, after-hours support as needed, and overtime work to meet schedule requirements.
Basic Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent experience/combined education
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, completing assigned tasks and special assignments using documented work instructions
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and email
• Ability to work extended shifts and weekends as required to meet business needs
• Experience with standard hand tools and ability to use them safely and effectively
Desired Skills:• Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical test equipment, including identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
• Background in spacecraft operations, automotive, and/or military experience, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices that apply to these fields.
• Light machining experience using equipment such as band saws and drill presses, with the ability to fabricate and modify test fixtures and equipment as needed.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and work instructions, with the ability to understand and apply technical information to solve problems.
• Experience with electrical equipment, including test instrumentation selection, installation, and data recording, with a strong understanding of electrical principles and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of dynamic test operations, including vibration, shock, and acoustic testing, with the ability to design, execute, and analyze tests to meet customer requirements.
• Experience working in an Assembly, Test, and/or Launch Operations (ATLO) organization, with a strong understanding of the processes and procedures that apply to this type of environment.
• Current security clearance (TS/SCI or DoD Secret) is highly desirable, with the ability to maintain and uphold.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $49,400 - $86,940. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
