The Work The Software Delivery Process Modernization Leader (SDPML) will manage all aspects of the Software Configuration Management (SCM) Production team who are responsible for software build, control, delivery, and ship/site installation of products for RMS Moorestown software development and maintenance contracts.
The SDPML will create and execute a strategic plan to modernize Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools, processes, and team capabilities, driving efficiency, cost savings, and transformation. Key objectives include:
• Modernizing and automating tools and processes
• Streamlining and optimizing workflows
• Enhancing productivity and priority management
The SDPML will also lead a transformative effort to optimize the team's structure and operations, focusing on:
• Role optimization
• Team development through cross-training and upskilling
• Collaboration and resource sharing to eliminate workload silos.
SDPML areas of functional responsibility include personnel and resource management, performance assessments, team career development and growth, knowledge & skill continuity, staffing analysis, Basis of Estimate (BOE) reviews and approval.
Additionally, the SDPML will be responsible for the overall Operations & Maintenance (O&M) CM and cost account management for both hardware and software team scope which includes:
• Support for Aegis CM activities including computer program and operating environment deliveries, process maintenance, and audit functions
• Support for Aegis Hardware CM team activities that include development and maintenance of the Combat System Equipment Lists for the Combat System Engineering Development Site, documentation, Site Change Implementation Notices, status accounting database maintenance and audits.
The Leader will be expected to be on-site full-time, split between Camden, Main Campus & Tech Campus locations in NJ.

Basic Qualifications:• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline or 10 or more years job-related experience
• 3 or more years leadership experience
• Understanding of Configuration Management principles and standards
• Experience with DevSecOps and Agile
• Experience with GitLab and Jira
• Certified Cost Account Manager (CAM)
• Ability to craft a vision, develop a strategic plan, and drive execution to achieve business outcomes
• Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance at the SECRET level
Desired Skills:• Understanding of all software CM roles supporting Aegis and other programs at the Moorestown, NJ location
• Knowledge of 1LMX Software Factory (SWF)

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
