Boeing AvionX has an exciting opportunity for an Integration and Test Lead to Lead a multi-disciplinary Integration & Test (I&T) team in Long Beach, CA or Plano, TX. This person will deliver, integrate, verify, and qualify complex modular avionics systems with networked communications (ARINC 664/AFDX, ARINC 825/CAN, ARINC 429) and diverse I/O. We are rapidly expanding our Avionics Integration and Test team consisting of engineers experienced in complex avionics systems.
Positions Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Integration and Test engineers responsible for supporting the Integration, Test, and Verification of Avionics Systems supporting the full lifecycle of the product from requirements to Integration and Verification activities.
Perform Integration and Test within a complex multi-unit system with network-based communication links for ARINC664, ARINC825 (Can Bus), and ARINC429 protocols.
Perform System integration within a diverse set of input traffic types such as Ethernet, serial, digital, and discrete interfaces
Support analysis, reviews and validation of test data to with the System Engineering team to show compliance to the requirements
Generate Test Cases, Plans and Procedures that support verification tests for compliance to requirements (ie. Design Verification Test and DO-160 Qualification Test, Acceptance Tests, etc)
Lead the team that develops the Test Scripts using a scripting language such as Python and C++
Perform testing using network-based tools such as Wireshark, network capture devices, and electronic test equipment
Oversee the preparation and publication of test reports to document test results that satisfy requirements.
Lead the team to develop all required Test Requirements Document
Lead the team to develop the requirements for all test equipment required and engage with the Test Equipment team to insure compliance to the test requirements
Provide requirements for lab needs and support test lab setup to support testing
Lead all related troubleshooting, root cause/corrective action investigation, and problem resolution.
Provide briefings on responsible subject matter as part of a team environment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
Experience with Ethernet networking protocols with, UDP, TCP/IP, Broadcast, Multicast, Unicast message traffic types
Experience with ARINC664, ARINC825 and ARINC429 protocols
Experience with RS232 and RS485 Protocols
Experience in integration of systems with a diverse set of Input traffic types such as serial, discrete, and digital interfaces
Experience using network based (network analysis) tools such as Wireshark, network capture devices, and electronic test equipment
Experience with developing test scripts using Python and C++
Experience with ARP4754B, DO-297, DO-160 and DO-330 RTCA recommendations
14+ years related systems engineering/avionics development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $157,250 - $212,750
