What does a successful QA Advisor do?
At Fiserv, a successful QA Advisor is an expert in manual testing with a deep understanding of consumer and commercial lending workflows. You will play a critical role in maintaining the high quality and reliability of our Loan Director platform, ensuring that it meets the diverse needs of banks and credit unions. By collaborating effectively with global teams and participating in client UAT programs, you will help deliver exceptional user experiences and support our mission of transforming financial services technology.
What you will do:
- Lead and execute manual testing efforts for Loan Director releases, including exploratory, regression, and requirement-based testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to validate feature requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Coordinate test planning and execution across onshore and offshore QA teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and timelines.
- Participate in client beta testing programs and support validation of new features in diverse environments.
- Maintain and enhance test case repositories and contribute to performance and security testing initiatives.
- Provide clear and timely communication of test results, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
What you will need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in software QA, with a strong focus on manual testing.
- Deep understanding of consumer and commercial lending workflows and regulatory considerations.
- Proven ability to lead QA efforts in complex, multi-product environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as LoadRunner, SOAPUI, and GIT for repository management.
- 5 years of experience in QA environments including UAT, certification, and production support.
What would be great to have:
- Experience with Loan Director or similar digital lending platforms.
- 4 years of exposure to performance and security testing strategies.
- Understanding of cloud-based deployment and testing environments.
