What you will do:
- Analyze payment and banking transactions across multiple data sources, identify patterns and build insights for data commercialization.
- Analyze 3 to 5 years historic transaction data on banking, digital banking, check data, External data, payments to create macro and micro level stats.
- Support end-to-end analytics projects including requirement development, explorative data analysis, data wrangling, feature engineering, rules and model fitting and deployment.
- Work with several frameworks including Spark, DASK, sci-kit learn, Pandas.
- Assist in the communication of insights and the implementation of solutions across the organization including development of data visualizations, dashboards and the presentation of results to key stakeholders and executives.
- Experience and proficiency in visualization tools like (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect, Data Analyst or in a related role.
- 7+ years of experience in a Payments industry with strong knowledge of Core Banking, Digital banking, ACH, Wire or Check processing.
- Proficiency in SQL and a computing language such as Python or R.
- Working knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake & Azure or NoSQL Databases.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment with multiple stakeholders.
What would be great to have:
- Master's degree in related field.
- Knowledge of banking transactions, Digital Payments, Billpay transaction data, ACH Payments, Wire payments Card payment and or Check Payment transactions.
- Proficiency with statistical data analysis and pattern recognition techniques (e.g., SVM, regression, classification, clustering, time series).
- Experience with one or more ML Ops frameworks — MLFlow, Kubeflow, Azure ML, Sagemaker.
- Experience with ML approaches: deep learning, generative AI, large language models, logistic regression, gradient descent.

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
