Are you a data-driven problem solver who thrives in dynamic, cross-functional environments? Sonepar is seeking a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to partner with our decentralized sales team to elevate our sales strategy by leveraging powerful analytics, process optimization, and actionable insights. As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you will play a key part in shaping how we grow our footprint and serve our customers.
This position is based out of our Charleston, South Carolina corporate office in a hybrid work environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards using data from internal lakes and third-party sources (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet)
- Analyze sales performance, market white space, and account potential to guide strategic decisions
- Deliver prospecting and account management reports to sales leaders and operating companies
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies, then drive process improvements and KPIs to measure success
- Support annual planning and forecasting initiatives, including impact planning and share-of-wallet analysis
- Collaborate with Sales, Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Finance, and Data Governance teams
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency inPower BI, Microsoft Excel, SQL, CRM, and data analytic tools
- Experience pulling and interpreting data from data lakes, CRMs, and external sources
- Support a multi-region or multi-business unit organization as a Sales Analyst
- Experience supporting a decentralized sales organization $500M+ in annual revenue
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate insights into business actions
- Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to leadership
- Goal-oriented, self-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with forecasting, planning, and impact modeling
- Authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
