Summer Internship Program

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 26 – July 31, 2026) immerses you in real-world retail operations. You’ll work directly with industry experts across our stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices, gaining practical experience through hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to our business and communities.

Do Your Best Work in Mooresville
This internship is based at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. Our corporate office is a space where you can collaborate and do your best work. Take a walk, grab a bite (or a cup of coffee), work out, or get a check-up – we invest in you so you can find your inspiration.
What You Will Learn
How Lowe’s evaluates and supports product assortments to meet customer needs.
The processes behind pricing strategy, product placement, and supplier engagement.
How merchandising decisions are translated into operational execution across retail and digital.
Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with teams in supply chain, marketing, and store operations.
How data drives merchandising through sales trends, forecasts, and performance tracking.
Project ownership: contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance category performance or customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in business, merchandising, marketing, retail management, or related field.
Expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027.
Preferred Skills/Experience
3.0 cumulative GPA
Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Programs (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Previous internship or relevant campus/leadership experience is a plus.
