Caterpillar is looking for a skilled Division Risk and Compliance Manager to our Electrification & Energy Solutions Division. This is an exciting role that will support the Division by leading an effective compliance program to help drive a compliance culture, reinforce our Values in Action and ensure the enterprise is Winning the Right Way. What You Will Do:
- Provide leadership with the identification of relevant compliance issues in the organization in terms of both applicable policies and procedures and instances where adherence to those policies and procedures may be compromised.
- Develop, implement, and proactively monitor compliance and ethics initiatives of the Division.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
- Develop, initiate and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the Division's compliance program, and support key compliance activities across the segment & enterprise.
What You Have:
- Education/Experience: Minimum of 4-year degree and 10+ years of relevant experience, Direct & demonstrated leadership experience
- Influencing & Relationship Management: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies with strong emotional intelligence; Ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization via effective relationship management and communication; Achieves influence and impact even when holding a position contrary to the majority; Discards examples of persuasive arguments lacking substance or impact; Leads and presents collaborative assessments that persuasively influence decision makers; Advises on techniques to build positive rapport across diverse teams and commitment to common purpose.
- Decision Making & Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment; Evaluates past decisions for insights to improve decision-making process; Assesses and validates decision options and points and predicts their potential impact; Leads others in analyzing and synthesizing relevant data and assessing alternatives.
- Risk Management & Remediation: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks including effective remediation management; Ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations; Implements function-wide risk management processes and tools; Designs cross-functional risk management processes, tools, and audit mechanisms.
- Continuous Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to focus on the continuous improvement of processes; Streamlines the critical workflow for executing key processes; Develops methods for improving and establishing controls for critical processes and scales across organizations when applicable; Coaches others to develop & foster a processes improvement skillset.
- Audit and Compliance Function: Knowledge of major responsibilities and tasks of Audit and Compliance (A&C) function; Ability to manage the operation of A&C function in various business environments; Facilitates compliance-related business process implementation or improvement initiatives; Fosters key relationships and dependencies among Audit, IT and other business functions.

- The primary location for this position is Irving, TX
- This role requires 5 days a week in office
- Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:
$156,000.00 - $234,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
