What Does a great Professional, Client Tech Support do at Fiserv?
Fiserv is looking for detail-oriented and customer-focused Deposit & Loan Operations Specialist to join our application support team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of both deposit and loan servicing functions within a credit union environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. banking and credit union regulations, transaction processing, and loan documentation, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
What will you do:
Deposit Operations
- Process ACH transactions, wire transfers, NSF checks, stop payments, and mobile deposits.
- Reconcile daily transactions including ATM activity, branch capture, and general ledger suspense accounts.
- Manage exception items such as non-posted transactions, stopped payments, and Federal Reserve adjustments.
- Monitor and maintain member accounts, including dormant status and fraud alerts.
- Provide support for online banking and remote deposit capture systems.
Loan Operations
- Perform loan boarding, modifications, payoffs, and escrow analysis.
- Resolve loan exceptions and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate collateral documentation and vault records.
- Assist with year-end reporting, including 1099 and 1098 forms.
- Support servicing commercial, mortgage, and installment loans.
What you will need to have:
- This position requires working in night shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working US timings.
- The candidate will follow the U.S. federal holiday schedule as part of their work calendar
- Credit Union & Banking Compliance: Familiarity with NCUA, FDIC, OFAC, CIP, CTR, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Core Banking Systems: Experience with platforms such as Jack Henry, Fiserv, or credit union-specific systems like Symitar.
- Manage and respond to inbound calls from clients, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided.
- Real-time account balances and transaction history
- Member Service Orientation: Ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Problem Solving & Decision Making: Especially in exception handling and regulatory compliance.
- Team Collaboration: Comfortable working across departments and with auditors.
- Financial Reconciliation: Strong accounting and transaction balancing capabilities.
What would be nice to have:
- CRM Systems: Experience with member interaction and tracking tools.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Excel for reporting and analysis.
