Solutions Architect

What you will do:
- Provide oversight, governance, and technical expertise for Windows and Linux servers, including hardware sizing, monitoring, error clean-up, and optimization.
- Support cloud environments on Azure, ensuring seamless integration with applications and optimizing cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Utilize tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and Moogsoft to monitor application performance and tie application usage back to infrastructure configuration.
- Drive efficiency for Oracle database configuration and usage, ensuring optimal performance, and perform routine maintenance and error clean-up.
- Suggest and manage firewall configurations to ensure network security.
- Design and validate High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation of IT configurations and procedures, adhering to industry best practices.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and/or equivalent military experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Windows and Linux server management.
- 8+ years of experience in using Dynatrace for application performance monitoring.
- 8+ years of experience with Splunk and Moogsoft for log management, analysis, and notification.
- 8+ years of experience with Oracle database management and optimization.
- 8+ years of experience in configuring High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- 8+ years of experience with Azure cloud services, including deployment, management, and optimization of cloud resources.
- You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. What would be great to have:
- 8+ years of experience in system networking, including subnets, routing, and TCP/IP.
- 8+ years of experience in managing web applications on Windows IIS.
- 8+ years of experience with database performance tuning and routine maintenance.
- 8+ years of experience in network packet capture and analysis.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer, ITIL).

- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
