Are you a technical expert with a passion for solving complex business problems? Join our team as a Senior Client Solutions Engineer and become a key advisor to our clients and sales teams. You'll play a vital role by working closely with prospects and clients to uncover business challenges, translating those needs into innovative technical solutions, and showcasing how our innovative electronic billing and payment solutions can transform businesses across a wide range of industries.
What you will do:
- Be the solution expert, guiding our sales teams and clients to identify the ideal electronic billing and payment solutions based on their needs.
- Drive value-driven client solutioning by uncovering business and technical challenges through deep discovery.
- Serve as a technical authority on our products, using your expertise to develop solutions and share best practices that build confidence and credibility with clients.
- Present solutions and give demonstrations that have clear value and address clients’ key business challenges and pain points.
- Partner closely with sales on account and deal strategy, and drive sales opportunities within new and existing accounts to help us meet our revenue goals.
- Act as a key partner to internal teams by offering market-based feedback and guidance on product features and gaps, the product roadmap, market messaging, and providing thought leadership that will evolve our go-to-market strategy.
- Support opportunities to grow our market presence and generate interest in Fiserv Biller solutions through a variety of field marketing activities.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.
- 5+ years of experience in a client-facing technical sales, solutions consulting, or sales engineering role.
- 3+ years of experience selling and working with SaaS solutions.
- Proven ability to understand and articulate complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
- Strong knowledge of the electronic billing and payments industry, including common pain points and business drivers.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to and track record of meeting and exceeding revenue and business goals.
What would be great to have:
- 8+ years of experience in a client-facing technical sales, solutions consulting, or sales engineering role.
- 3+ years of experience working with electronic billing and payment solutions.
- Familiarity with solution-oriented sales methodologies, such as Solution Selling and MEDDPIC.
- A background in FinTech, with an understanding of current industry trends.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
