About your role:
As a Cyber Engineering - Sr Advisor I, you will be at the forefront of protecting sensitive data and safeguarding our clients’ information by implementing advanced cybersecurity measures. Your role will be crucial in defending our network systems, data, and infrastructure from potential threats. Joining our dedicated cybersecurity team, you will collaborate with experts to design, develop, and deploy security solutions that ensure the highest levels of protection and compliance.
What you'll do:
Leverage your cybersecurity expertise to design and implement advanced security solutions.
Assess security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices across all phases of the development lifecycle.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Review security data and tool outputs to identify control gaps, policy deviations, and threats to continuously enhance security controls.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes and protocols.

Experience and qualifications you'll need to have:
6+ years of experience in Information Security for Financial Institutions (or similar regulated industries), with specific experience in developing, implementing and managing Network Security solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in areas such as IT, Computer Science, IT Security, etc. and/or equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience
Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques, with a solid understanding of security principles, infrastructure, and data protection practices.
Significant experience in modern, large-scale corporate network environments, with demonstrable, expert-level understanding of core network switching and routing concepts, protocols and implementations.
Expertise in Network Security technology infrastructure including Firewalls, NGFWs, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy and other solutions that integrate the latest technologies to prevent and detect malicious attacks.
Top candidates will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, security problems, and troubleshooting complex network issues.
Experience and advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and risk and compliance requirements.
General understanding of cloud computing and services and traditional hardware/software platforms, including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.
Familiarity with deployments and integration of network security solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
Certifications that would be great to have:
CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP, or similar certifications
CCNA, CCIE or similar technical certifications
