Description:You will be the Deputy Project Manager for the Simulation and System Labs (SSL) Fort Worth Man-In-The-Loop (FW MITL) team. Our team is responsible for designing, procuring, developing, testing, and sustaining aircraft flight simulation systems as well as the integration and test of aircraft software, systems, and subsystems.
What You Will Be Doing:
As the System Engineer Stf you will be responsible for project management leadership producing and maintaining lab infrastructure for simulation products for internal and external customers. You will manage the proposals, schedule, cost, and technical scope for lab and product development to support integration and test of operational flight software for multiple contracts.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading daily project activities
• Mitigating risk and opportunity impacts
• Communicate project progress to all levels of leadership
• Demonstrate familiarity with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
• Managing the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
• Perform cost and schedule variance analysis
• Develop monthly estimate to complete (ETC) assessments

You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a technical STEM field.
• Team leadership experience.

• Control Account Manager (CAM) or Earned Value Management (EVM) Experience.

• Experience with LM capital and IT management process.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
