This position supports the Brooklyn Park, MN, Global Paving facility with Indirect Purchases to support Manufacturing, Facility and Product Group needs.
What You Will Do:
- Support customers and stakeholders as they purchase material and services to support manufacturing operations, facility maintenance and projects, and engineering functions. This will consist of in person meetings, video Teams meetings and technical support of Indirect Purchasing tools bringing customer’s data to make an informed best decision for Caterpillar.
- Recognize the potential for cost reductions by engaging with business partners at the facility you support and with the Indirect Purchasing Category teams. Work Collaboratively with suppliers, customers and category to achieve cost savings and avoidance goals.
- Collaborate with business partners and suppliers and resolve a wide variety of facility specific supplier issues.
- Serve as a trusted resource to support compliance to Purchasing Practices and Enterprise Procedures around purchasing goods and services.

- Data-driven Decision Making: Knowledge of the data-driven decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to gather and analyze data to make organizational decisions that align with strategic business objectives and goals.
- Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00
