What does a successful Human Resources Director do?The Human Resources Director is an innovative HR business partner providing support to leaders in a dynamic Merchant Solutions Sales Organization. In alignment with Fiserv’s mission, this HRBP will collaborate with sales leaders to develop and implement a people strategy in partnership with client groups. This role leverages HR domain expertise, effective communication, strong analytical skills, and teamwork to achieve business results, living our commitment to excellence and innovation.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with the business objectives of the Merchant Solutions Sales Organization.
- Serve as the HR liaison for senior leaders, managers, and associates, offering solutions to moderate to complex HR queries.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Compensation team to design and align compensation plans with business strategies.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive workforce analysis and organization design efforts to meet short and long-term business goals, ensuring retention of key talent.
- Manage change management activities within the business, ensuring timely, professional, and clear communication.
- Manage employee relations, including conducting data analysis, creating templates, and implementing preventative solutions.
- Coach leaders on performance management, leadership development, and talent management efforts.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
- 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, including experience as an HR Business Partner managing core HR processes.
- 8+ years of experience in employee relations, performance management, coaching, and change management.
- 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition and workforce planning.
- Intermediate competency with MS Excel and PowerPoint, including VLOOKUP formulas, Pivot Tables and Charts, and creating and customizing PPT slides.
What would be great to have:
- 8+ years of experience in workforce analytics and utilization of HR data to inform strategic decisions.
- 8+ years of experience in leading change management initiatives within a sales organization.
- Certification(s) from recognized HR bodies such as SHRM or HRCI.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic HR planning and implementation.
- Familiarity with HRIS and other HR-related software tools.
