What You Will Be Doing
As the Administrative Assistant Senior, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior leaders and staff, exercising discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by performing a wide range of administrative duties and office management tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative support to senior leaders and staff, exercising discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Create and edit presentations, documents, memos, and reports, utilizing excellent writing and communication skills to produce high-quality materials
- Coordinate travel arrangements, reconcile expense reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings and appointments, and organize VIP visits and special events with precision and attention to detail
- Develop and maintain effective correspondence management systems, ensuring timely and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:• Must be willing to be on-site approximately 75% of the week
• Must have prior experience supporting senior level management (i.e. Senior Managers, Directors, and/ or Executive leaders)
• Proven experience applying critical thinking to tasks and calendar prioritization
• Experience using mobile technology to handle work issues outside of normal work hours
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, and appropriate sensitivity to all issues
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels of management
• Experience in travel booking and expense reconciliation (preferred concur experience)
• Experience managing office supply procurement
• Ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment

Desired Skills:3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
Experience with Confluence and Tableau
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive information

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
