Description:You will be an Additive Manufacturing Technician for our Advanced Manufacturing Center in Littleton, Co. Our team is responsible for pushing the boundaries of additive manufacturing, and we're looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team.
Perform a variety of duties in the Additive Manufacturing Center.
• Primary role is the operation and maintenance of 3D printers.
• Able to assemble precision mechanisms and structural assemblies.
• Will also at times troubleshoot, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Work from schematics, engineering drawings, Manufacturing Process Instructions and written or verbal instructions.
• Work within a team environment and as an individual contributor.
• Work closely with other technicians, support staff, and engineering aids to absorb and develop a strong working skill set.
Basic Qualifications:* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Experience with installing, removing, adding, testing, replacing, repairing, or maintaining electrical equipment
* Basic understanding and reading of engineering and installation drawings
* Ability to learn quickly per SOP and manufacturing process documentation.
* Understanding and safe use of hand tools such as Torque Wrenches, Sharps, Hand Drills, Pneumatic Tools etc.
* Must be able to use calibrated hand tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers and gauges in a production environment.
* Manufacturing experience
* Polymer Additive Manufacturing experience
* Strong problem-solving and independent thinking skills
* Comfortable with flexibility in work scope and requirements
* Must be very safety conscious, well versed with Hazmat, supply discipline, FOD and tool control.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements
Desired Skills:* Certifications from Stratasys for machine maintenance
* Familiarity with Creo, Insight, Control Center, or Magics software
* Experience working with STL files and FDM
* Previous assembly experience in a quality-regulated environment
* Experience working with engineering drawings and manufacturing work instructions
* Operation and mechanical repair and service of Stratasys F900, 450, 400, and 370 assets.
* Operation and maintenance of various ultrasonic tanks and the mixing of and proper waste disposal of sodium hydroxide solutions.
* Responsible for the handling, inventory control, and testing of multiple polymer materials.
* Manage the supply and procurement of shop consumables per a balanced budget.
* Responsible for scheduling multiple jobs for on time delivery.
* Providing updates and tracking on all jobs, consumables, and costs to customers and leadership.
* Partnering across manufacturing functions to build relationships in downstream and upstream processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $53,900 - $94,875. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
