About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst to support reporting and analytics efforts within Independent Testing and Validation, with a strong focus on Business Intelligence (BI) and Power BI development.
In this role, you will:- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights to business partners and leadership
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions that improve transparency, efficiency, and decision-making
- Collaborate with testing teams to understand reporting needs and develop comprehensive, automated reporting solutions
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric capabilities (e.g., OneLake, Direct Lake mode, Dataflows Gen2) to streamline data integration and enhance reporting performance
- Ensure reporting solutions adhere to data governance, compliance, and security standards
- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for reporting automation and process improvement
- Document reporting processes, data flows, and metadata to support transparency and knowledge sharing
- Provide thought leadership on BI best practices, including data visualization, user experience, and performance optimization
- Contribute to quarterly and annual planning by forecasting reporting needs and identifying strategic opportunities
- Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and achieve goals; may serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Strong experience designing and building Power BI dashboards, including: DAX and Power Query (M), Data modeling and relationships, Row-level security and performance tuning, Integration with Microsoft Fabric components
- Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau or SAS Viya
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to support business needs
- Understanding of risk management, compliance, or audit operations within financial services
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and technical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experience documenting reporting processes and ensuring proper data governance and security
Additional Desired Qualifications:- Experience using Python (Pandas) or SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Ability to retrieve, join, and process large datasets from multiple sources
- Familiarity with SAS Viya, Alteryx, or other data preparation tools
- Experience with advanced analytics or statistical modeling techniques
