About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer-Storage Automation.
In this role, you will:- Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
- Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
- Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
- Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
- Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with customer and vendor
Required Qualifications:- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of expertise in Automation scripting using Python and Ansible to drive infrastructure orchestration, system integration, and API-based workflows across enterprise platforms
- 3+ years of Hands-on experience with Git-based version control workflows, including branching strategies, pull request management, and semantic versioning for collaborative development
- Familiarity with software quality assurance practices, including unit testing, code linting, and deployment gates integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize build and release pipelines, identifying bottlenecks and implementing automation to improve delivery speed and reliability.
Desired Qualifications:- 3+ years of expertise in enterprise-grade storage technologies, including file, object, block, and data protection systems, with a focus on delivering self service capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in designing modular, maintainable automation frameworks, leveraging best practices in testability, reusability, and CI/CD integration
- Strong command of infrastructure automation and API integration, with hands-on experience using REST/gRPC libraries and data parsing tools to streamline deployment and operations
- Deep understanding of modern CI/CD pipeline orchestration, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions, with a track record of implementing robust automation workflows across distributed environments
- Experience with Yugabyte databases.

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
