What you´ll do
JOB SUMMARY:
- The Quality System Manager position is responsible for creating and implementing a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns with industry standards and company requirements. The position manages the relationship between the site and its suppliers, with a primary focus on ensuring the quality of incoming materials. The role oversees the development of quality systems including internal document management systems, driving continuous improvement and compliance activities according to ISO requirements and FDA regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads the improvement, development, implementation, and training of the plant QMS and collaborates with internal and external parties.
- Leads supplier quality management and issues actively.
- Tracks and evaluates supplier performance against agreed-upon quality standards, delivery timelines, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyzes data, identifies trends, and develops solutions to address supplier quality and performance issues to ensure suppliers adhere to quality standards and regulations.
- Sustains the overall quality system within the organization by implementing quality control procedures and conducting audits to find deficiencies or issues.
- Influences the development of the plant quality culture by applying critical thinking/decision making and root cause problem solving.
- Provides support for external and internal audits including regulatory agencies.
