Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parking Lot Attendant to manage the daily operations of our parking facility. This role includes monitoring vehicle entry and exit, assisting customers, and performing light maintenance and cleaning to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Pay: $19.00 an hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Shift: Wednesday-Sunday 3pm-10:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)
1. Report directly to the Assistant Manager/Clerk and/or the Facility Manager.
2. Inspect all areas in the parking garage, garage entries and surrounding areas, including exit lanes, short term parking area to maintain cleanliness and safety.
3. Highly responsible and reliable, able to work with minimal oversight and being proactive with his/her duties.
4. Assist Tenants and Visitors, that might have trouble to exit or process parking ticket, cashiering them if needed, always providing excellent customer service within a friendly
environment, which includes proactively greeting and thanking each customer in a professional manner.
5. Maintain parking equipment in good working order and must keep supply closet and lunchroom neat and in orderly fashion.
6. Remove trash, clean elevators, garage entry/exit lanes, floors and curbs, Remove cobwebs, wipe down parking equipment, signs, shutters, windows, yellow bollards, and clean stairwells.
7. Use a Radio to communicate and answer calls in a prompt and courteous manner, when required.
8. Complete Daily Exit Log when assisting someone at the exit lanes.
9. Understanding ABM policies and procedures, able to self-manage and self-motivate working with teammates to execute them effectively.
10. Perform and complete other duties as required.
11. Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
12. Always communicates professionally with tenants, guests, client, and teammates.
13. Act as flagger or traffic director, when required.
14. Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to the Assistant Manager, Manager and/or Security staff on premises.
15. Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing necessary tasks.
16. Notify the Assistant Manager and/or Parking Manager when cleaning and maintenance supplies are needed.
17. Coordinate traffic flow as needed and Communicate parking procedures, provide information and directions clearly and effectively to visitors.
18. Understand and respond appropriately to basic customer and team member inquiries.
19. Do a daily car count monitoring if there is illegal parking and immediately provide parking violations to those vehicles.
20. Interact with guests in a friendly manner.
JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have the ability to work under pressure within a high demanding clientele and communicate clearly and efficiently.
- Must have an excellent attitude every day and high level of integrity.
- Must be able to learn new concepts, adapt to change, and collaborate.
- Must speak and understand English proficiently. Must write legibly.
- Must understand basic math and able to execute transactions consistently.
