About your role:
You will leverage core payments domain expertise to perform EMV L3 Certifications utilizing FIME Banking Test Toolkit. You will drive continuous improvement through processes, including but not limited to, team standards, test planning, resourcing and test execution, as well as debugging, metric collection, and reporting for the Commerce Hub platform. The Commerce Hub is the most powerful omnichannel platform. With developer-friendly, flexible communication standards, unified APIs, and pre-certified integrations the Commerce Hub reduces development time and accelerates speed to market.
What you will do:
- Perform EMV L3 Certification utilizing FIME BTT (Banking Test Toolkit)
- Utilize your knowledge of Base24 and ISO 8583 specs to ensure accurate and efficient transaction processing
- Develop test plans, scripts, and execute credit/debit tests, EBT and Gift Cards
- Capture host and simulator logs for card brand submissions
- Validate output data per specification requirements and report defects via Jira and upload corresponding documents
- Provide feedback on test results, assist with production defects, and configure test accounts required for testing
- Provide updates to stakeholders and attend daily/weekly meetings
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, including team standards, test planning, resourcing, execution, debugging, metric collection, and reporting
Experience you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience performing EMV L3 Certification utilizing FIME BTT (Banking Test Toolkit)
- 4+ years of experience with Base 24 and ISO 8583 specs
- 4+ years of experience with tools and platforms for payment systems quality insurance including, FIME BTT, JAMA and Vantiv
- 4+ years of experience with tools such as Splunk, Postman, Zephyr Scale and Jira
- 4+ years of experience understanding and translating user and system requirements into test scripts
- 4+ years of technical experience in Merchant Payment Processing, Financial Institution Payment Processing or Financial services with high-volume, large-scale processing and reporting
- 1+ years of experience in distributed testing/automation/performance activities.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Experience with PTS specifications
- Basic programming understanding in relevant languages (e.g., Java) to analyze and work with EMV chip card code.
- Working knowledge on J-Meter
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
- Familiarity with security testing practices
- Understanding of software development lifecycles
- Certification in software testing methodologies
