Description:You will be the Test Technician responsible for performing various electrical tests on sub-assembly units, circuit card assemblies, and subassemblies to determine compliance and performance as specified. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, and you will play a key role in achieving this goal.
What You Will Be Doing As the Test Technician, you will be responsible for using high voltage test equipment, electronic measuring instruments, and test software to perform tests and troubleshoot components. You will read schematics, determine the effect of measuring equipment on the circuit being measured, and correct readings accordingly.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Perform various electrical tests on sub-assembly units, circuit card assemblies, and subassemblies to determine compliance and performance as specified
- Use high voltage test equipment, electronic measuring instruments, and test software to perform tests and troubleshoot components
- Read schematics and determine the effect of measuring equipment on the circuit being measured
- Record findings and readings on test data sheets and refer data beyond established limits to supervisor and/or engineer
- Install test units and operate assets such as chambers, ovens, or other test machinery
- Properly document errors or discrepancies found in a neat and legible manner
- Participate in internal and external audits as required
- Travel to field locations for performance of technical duties as required
- Maintain records of results both digitally and in handwritten documents
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work area
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:• 3 years, formal education in electricity/electronics, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks
• Work experience testing with high power voltages both AC and DC
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, with both internal and external customers
• Experience working successfully in a team environment.
• Must be able to support a flexible work schedule supporting overtime, off-Fridays, weekends, and/or alternate shifts to support product schedules as required
• Must be able to pass visual acuity and color perception exam.
• Must be able to obtain a Government Secret security clearance.
• US Citizen
Desired Skills:• Experience troubleshooting circuit-card assemblies (CCAs), Subassemblies, and System level products
• Demonstrated computer skills areas of LM tools including SAP, Apriso, Command Media, PAL and Windchill
• Navigating SAP/Apriso in areas concerning confirmations, reviewing characteristics, and Nonconformances
• Technical writing for documenting issues on rejection paperwork
• Self-motivator with desire to learn

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
