Description:Facilities Engineer with a strong emphasis on electrical engineering, power distribution, and site utilities.
This role will be multifunctional, in which you will:
- Work on a multi-disciplinary team, including electrical, mechanical, reliability, controls, energy, architectural, and civil engineers.
- Coordinate building electrical outages at regular intervals of various sizes and engineering disciplines. This will require interfacing with stakeholders of all types to mitigate risk during outage activities. This will require that critical systems are backed up, and contingency plans are in place.
- Provide electrical engineering troubleshooting guidance while working with Plant Engineering to resolve. Often with aged infrastructure, there are emergency failures in systems, and it requires both maintenance and engineering teamwork to fix the emerging issue as well as reduce risk of reoccurrences in the future.
- Ensure the proper working order of site infrastructure units such as HVAC/AHU's, substations, power meters, chillers, and more. You will be working with Reliability Engineering and Plant Engineering to help advice Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) data on infrastructure, as well as a plan of action to maintain or replace.
- Assist in electrical engineering designs and design reviews on capital and overhead projects. You will pay special attention to maintainability and efficiency best practices on proposed A&E designs, or in-house efforts.
- Run small-medium projects across site, serving as the main project manager in which you will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to execute requirements effectively.
- Respond to site on occasion, such as during inclement weather, which may drive unplanned unplanned outages or infrastructure damage (e.g. power role lines icing over during winter), and solution with the help of Plant Engineering and on-site contractors.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering (or a closely related degree), or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment
- Previous facilities experience working with building infrastructure
- Working knowledge of critical facilities and site infrastructure such as HVAC, chiller systems, steam, electrical, and other systems
- Track record of implementing executable and effective solutions
- Track record of executing projects from start to finish
- Familiarity with current applicable building codes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with all levels of personnel
Desired Skills:- 3 to 7 years of Facilities Engineering experience with an emphasis on electrical engineering
- Extensive experience with site infrastructure and power distribution systems; specifically engineering design and how they are planned, organized, and maintained
- Experience planning, coordinating, and leading electrical outages, impacting a multitude of building types, uses, and sizes
- Experience and knowledge of site utilities preventative maintenance (PM) requirements and procedures
- Familiarity with Reliability Engineering concepts for maintainability and mitigating downtime
- Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Facilities Standards, Industry Standards, policies and procedures
- Experience operating in and analyzing data in Tableau
- Knowledge of LMBuildings terminology and how to operate
- Experience working with utilities companies and coordinating installations or repairs of their equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interpret customer requirements
- Experience with utilities meters (e.g. power meters) at the substation level & experience integrating them for data readings
- Demonstrated experience leading change/process improvement activities and driving employee engagement to deliver results
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain clearances as needed to support Customers

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
