About your role:
A successful Program Manager at Fiserv leads cross-functional stability and automation initiatives involving operations, development, architecture, automation, and technology services teams. This role is critical in ensuring end-to-end program execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery excellence across multiple workstreams. The Program Manager’s efforts directly contribute to Fiserv's mission to drive innovation and operational efficiency in financial technology.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage complex programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders
- Review, analyze, and track various milestones throughout the release lifecycle
- Identify trends and provide updates on projects and teams potentially at risk for releases
- Collaborate with operations, development, automation, and architecture teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Maintain program documentation (roadmap, program charters, project plans, etc.), dashboards, and release calendars.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and governance meetings
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations
- Generate and present regular reports on program status, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in information technology program experience at scale - including enterprise software development, with high security governance, over 600 globally distributed employees and third-party people, and total costs in the $10 million to $100 million range
- 4+ years of experience in project coordination, release management, or project management
- 4+ years of experience with tools such as JIRA, Power BI, and MS Project
- 2+ years of experience with the software development life cycle and release management process
- Proven experience in program management across cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile & software development lifecycle and release management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience
