Caribou Thunder is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Analyst to support critical Air Force and Space Force programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep operations research and analytical expertise into a dynamic environment where innovation and precision are key. Provide operations research analysis expertise across Air Force and Space Force programs.
Coordinate with senior managers and decision-makers to identify problems and clarify objectives.
Lead the development and execution of analytical and assessment plans for complex, unstructured challenges.
Deliver decision-quality recommendations through cross-functional analysis efforts.
Support program analysis using TSE and MATE methodologies, including data collection, curation, and reporting.
Facilitate and manage secure data-gathering events (meetings, conferences, technical exchanges).
Extract and analyze data from multiple sources (documents, databases, SMEs).
Translate findings into actionable insights, trend analysis, and visualizations to support strategic decision-making.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, math, or management field required
5+ years of experience in a DoD organization performing data collection and analysis functions to garner understanding of weapon systems development, management, maintenance and employment in operational environments.
Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
Experience solving complex, unstructured problems with effective analytical solutions.
Familiarity with U.S. Space Force missions, organizations, and operational constructs.
Ability to work in secure environments (SCIFs).
Excellent communication and executive briefing skills.
Master’s degree in a STEM discipline.
Direct experience with DoD space programs, Space Deltas, and joint force operations.
Proficiency with Python, R, JMP, or similar analytical tools.
Familiarity with Space Deltas mission areas.
Experience in software development, web applications, or analytic dashboard design.
Knowledge of collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence, SysML.
Strong understanding of program cost, schedule, performance metrics, and risk analysis.
Experience building analytic dashboards with visualizations of underlying data.
Background in analysis or assessments supporting defense programs.
