Overview
The Cleanroom Ceiling Plenum Technician is responsible for executing specialized cleaning operations within the ceiling plenum space above the cleanroom environment in a semiconductor facility. This role requires precision, strict adherence to cleanroom and safety protocols, and the ability to perform duties while working at height using mobile scaffolding, ladders, and/or scissor lifts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Work & Setup
• Complete required daily permit documentation: Inside Ceiling Work Plan, Restricted Work Permit, and Ceiling Access Control Form
• Perform tool/equipment inspection and clean using IPA wipes to prevent FOD (Foreign Object Debris)
• Gown up in full cleanroom PPE, including coveralls, booties, gloves, and a hair net per client protocol
• Prepare and inspect scaffolding or scissor lift equipment; confirm presence of valid inspection tags
Ceiling Access & Cleaning
• Enter ceiling plenum space following safety procedures and tie-off requirements using SRLs, beam clamps, and anchor straps rated for fall protection
• Perform HEPA-filtered vacuuming and IPA wipe-downs of all surfaces, including beams, ducts, racks, struts, and sprinkler heads
• Adhere to strict FOD control by using tacky mats, shoe covers, and dedicated ceiling work shoes
• Follow cleaning sequence from high-to-low surfaces to maintain particle control standards
Post-Work & Documentation
• Clean and store equipment properly after use
• Complete and sign out of the plenum logbook; ensure all tools are accounted for and damage-free
• Don/doff PPE in designated areas according to cleanroom protocol
• Report work completion, upload logs/photos via Kakao Chat, and escalate any discrepancies or abnormalities per protocol

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Knowledge
• 1+ year experience in cleanroom environments or high-risk maintenance work preferred
• Familiarity with FOD control and cleanroom procedures is a strong advantage
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined ceiling spaces
Certifications (ABM Provided if not current)
• Fall Protection Training (Required)
• Working from Heights Certification (Required)
• Scissor Lift Operation Certification (Required)
