Job Summary:
Candidate will be expected to manage large, complex programs and/or multiple moderate to large complex programs or projects simultaneously. Provide leadership in the development and updates of program and project management schedules. Accountable for project deliverables being achieved on time, within budget and scope, the incumbent manages the interactions and relationships between multiple, interrelated projects using approved, professional program and project management processes and tools.
What You Will Do:
Overseeing project processes and procedures; monitoring the productivity and performance of project team.
Managing all aspects of projects. Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of project.
Reviewing and ensuring adherence to project materials, deliverables methodologies and procedures.
Preparing and presenting program level reporting for upper management.
What You Will Have:
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.
Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Considerations for Top Candidates:
Bachelor’s Degree required
8-10 years Program Management experience
Should have strong project management skills, team leadership skills, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to multitask effectively
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Professional training in project management software and techniques as well as leading and facilitating meetings is highly desired.

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
