We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Applications Developers to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to UI/UX design, manage MS SQL database back-ends, develop application programming interfaces, and create highly scalable server components for the implementation of professional enterprise-level web applications that support the digital transformation of Sonepar for our customers and associates.
The Junior Application Developer roles are based in our Broomfield, CO offices, hybrid work environment with being in the office 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Will contribute to the design, building and maintenance of:
- .NET (ASP and MVC components, application program interfaces and rich web user interfaces
- Highly scalable components in multiple web applications
- Integration efforts using XML, JSON, etc.
- Productivity applications leveraging web based and mobile technologies like TypeScript, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.
- Collaborate on the continuous improvement of our development methods including metric definition quality processes and our software development in the distribution industry.
- Coding and Testing Web Applications within .NET frameworks
- Maintaining the market .NET web applications
- Technical Skill Development and Professional Growth
Qualifications:
- Be authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study
- 2+ years of experience with the .NET Framework (ASP.NET and MVC), Visual Studio IDE, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong understanding of web application development from UI through to the data access layer.
Proven knowledge and professional work experience with:
- C#, MVC
- JavaScript and jQuery
- Rest and Web API
- SQL database technologies
- Object-Oriented Design
