In this role, you will:- Lead and manage spend categories, develop strategies and negotiate contract for products, services, and suppliers
- Contribute to category saving targets for multiple categories and supplier performance
- Review and analyze contract data, business goals and market conditions to identify cost saving opportunities
- Determine deal strategy and control all aspects of contract negotiations and cost-effective supplier assessments
- Manage entire lease process from origination to final execution ensuring all required documents are received, filed, and executed
- Maintain all lease administration systems and prepare all lease agreements and related contractual documents ensuring are in compliance with policies and procedures
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to ensure appropriate language is used to achieve final lease documents
- Lead projects and mentor less experienced staff
- Research and respond to internal or external inquiries
Required Qualifications:- 4+ years of Sourcing, Procurement experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Experience negotiating contracts in support of capital markets and/or Investment Banks. Experience negotiating market data, broker/dealer agreements and other trading-related products and services.
- Fundamental understanding of contract law, including a minimum of 3 years' experience drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts.
- Comprehensive sourcing and contract negotiation experience with suppliers in one or more of the following categories: professional services, technology (e.g. IT consulting and hardware/software/SaaS), financial services industry related products and services.
- Experience negotiating contracts and sourcing for a large complex organization in highly regulated environment.
- Ability to project manage deals, including legal, financial and stakeholder reviews.
- Strong benchmarking and analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency with leading web-based contract management, strategic sourcing (RFx) and reverse auction tools (ex: Beeline, Emptoris, and Ariba).
- Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
