About this role:Wells Fargo Consumer Lending Team is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant to support the Consumer Risk Programs Change Delivery Team. The position is responsible for executing several key functions, with a primary focus on strategic data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
In this role, you will:- Lead CEDA Partnership for Enhanced Insights and Reporting
Own and drive the strategic partnership between Consumer Risk Programs and Customer Excellence Data and Analytics (CEDA). Champion the development of advanced reporting capabilities to improve enterprise-wide performance monitoring of regulatory and risk programs. Deliver deeper analysis and actionable insights to support strategic planning and decision-making. - Build and Manage Operational Reporting Suite
Own the end-to-end design, execution, and maintenance of the Consumer Risk Programs operational reporting environment. Manage the report inventory and collaborate with program leaders to deliver impactful reporting solutions that drive efficiency and strengthen controls. - Develop Strategies for New Branch and Digital Transaction Data
Own the strategy and execution for leveraging newly acquired branch and digital transaction data. Identify use cases, define reporting approaches, and integrate insights into broader program objectives to unlock value and inform decision-making. - Execute Strategic Programs to Develop New Reporting CapabilitiesCollaborate with the Consumer Risk Programs Leadership Team to identify and implement reporting initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals. Utilize emerging technologies, including AI, and evaluate new data sources to deliver comprehensive analytics solutions
- Requirements Gathering
Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders-including Consumer Risk Programs team members, partner lines of business (LOBs), Consumer Lending Technology (CLT), and Customer Excellence Data and Analytics (CEDA)-to collect and document reporting requirements. - Report Request Management
Maintain a single, prioritized list of report requests. Document stack ranking, delivery owner, due dates, dependencies, and status using standardized procedures and templates. - Cross-Team Coordination
Collaborate closely with solution fulfillment teams such as CLT and CEDA to manage dependencies and ensure timely delivery of prioritized reporting solutions. - Reporting Solution Development
Design and implement reporting solutions aligned with business strategy, including:- Ensuring solutions meet documented requirements and support Consumer Risk Programs processes.
- Documenting data mappings from source tables to reports using standard templates.
- Building reports using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
- Executing and documenting test scenarios and results.
- Creating user documentation including manuals, job aids, desktop procedures, and data dictionaries.
- Providing end-user training and support to drive adoption and resolve issues.
- Change Management Support
Partner with program/project management to ensure full compliance with Change Management policies, including user readiness, testing, and documentation. - Operational Support
Assist with coaching, training, and development of less experienced data and reporting resources. Assist with other team activities as needed to maintain business continuity and provide backup support for peers.
Required Qualifications:7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- Demonstrated proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools such as Microsoft SQL, Power BI, ThoughtSpot, Alteryx, and Excel.
- Demonstrated proficiency leveraging AI technologies such as CoPilot Studio, Python, Gemini in conjunction with data visualization tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across various levels and functions, with a proven ability to align diverse perspectives.
- Ability to translate business needs into effective solutions across policy, process, data, and technology.
- Experience interviewing subject matter experts to extract and document requirements, resolve conflicts, and secure business user approval.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to convert insights into strategic solutions.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools and methodologies such as Jira Service Desk, Agile Jira, Jira Kanban, and BRDs.
- Self-starter with a professional demeanor and a focus on execution, able to identify and act on opportunities for business improvement.
- Experience working in large corporate environments, preferably within the financial services industry.
