The GE Programs Customer Quality Leader will lead strategic quality engagement with our GE Programs Airframe Customers. The person in this role with use FLIGHT DECK to lead horizontally across programs and production to drive quality performance for our customers.
Job Description
Strategic:
- Own Zero Defect strategy and quality kaizen plan for GE programs.
- Partner with our GE programs product operations to lead and support quality and process improvement.
- Partner with airframe customers to develop joint quality improvement plans. Own customer quality relationship with GE programs airframer customers.
- Partner with programs, PCB councils, and engineering teams in driving SQDC for GE programs.
- Lead and partner with programs to standardize airframe customer quality engagements and action planning using FLIGHT DECK.
Organizational:
- Lead a team of customer program quality professionals responsible for product lines within the GE programs portfolio.
- Lead on site quality team members positioned at customer sites. Coach problem solving at the program level for all GE programs.
- Partner with GE programs product leadership to support customer and partner engagement in support of quality improvement and delivery support.
Operational:
- Own daily management for GE programs quality in terms of QEM resolution to support delivery.
- Own daily management for and quality action plan for key strategic customers.
- Liaison with programs in support of safety management, program council, and other operating cadences representing quality.
- Sponsor and participate in product line kaizen focused on delivered quality.
Minimum Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an outstanding ability to interact and engage at all levels of the organization.
- Minimum 5 years of Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related experience
- Demonstrated leadership across horizontal teams in problem solving through FLIGHT DECK
- Experienced in quality systems and processes in a production environment
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel up to 20%
