The Executive - Manufacturing Engineering Management is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction, development, and industrialization of coatings technologies within GE Aerospace. This position will lead efforts across coatings technology, strategy, sourcing, delivery, and technical expertise, ensuring alignment with GE Aerospace’s business objectives and SQDC priorities (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost). The ideal candidate will foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement while building strong relationships across the coatings professional network and advising GE leadership on coatings matters.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Coatings Technology: Lead the supply chain team to achieve the development and industrialization of all new coating technologies.
- Coatings Strategy/Capacity: Drive the development of new sites, capacity planning, investment strategies, and network source selection.
- Coatings Sourcing/Commercial: Manage long-term agreements (LTAs), purchase order pricing, placement, penalties, and commercial resolutions.
- Coatings Relationships: Build relationships with key leadership stakeholders across the industrial base and partner with technical contacts throughout the coatings professional network.
- Coatings Delivery: Collaborate with GE plants and suppliers to address delivery execution issues, participate in delivery daily management, and engage in weekly operations reviews.
- Coatings Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise in coatings, including materials, processes, equipment issues, and system interactions.
- Leadership Counsel: Advise GE leadership on coatings matters and support the PGT and ACC JV business interests as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 15 years of work experience with proven leadership in engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and/or sourcing roles.
- 3-5 years of experience specifically in an engineering/manufacturing technology operation.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
