Job Summary:
Caterpillar’s High Performance Molded Products Plant manufactures over 600 unique molded components used across nearly every machine we produce. We are seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to manage and optimize our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring our equipment remains in peak condition to support world-class manufacturing.
What You Will Do:
- Preventative Maintenance Oversight: Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks are scheduled, executed accurately, and completed on time.
- CMMS Administration: Maintain and update the CMMS database, including onboarding new equipment and users, coordinating training, and managing system enhancements.
- Data & Metrics Reporting: Generate and distribute monthly CPS metrics and other performance data from the CMMS to Maintenance and Team Leaders.
- Machine Documentation Management: Serve as the central point of contact for all machine documentation—current and future—maintaining both paper and digital records.
- New Equipment Support: Provide expert guidance on documentation requirements for new machine acquisitions.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a key link between facility management, maintenance teams, purchasing, and crib personnel to ensure seamless operations.
What skills you will have:
Facilities Management: Demonstrated experience in maintenance and facilities operations, including strong proficiency with CMMS systems for scheduling and tracking. Deep understanding of facility machinery and manufacturing processes, with the ability to manage preventive maintenance programs and implement LOTO procedures. Familiarity with Allen Bradley programming is required for troubleshooting and system integration.
Preventive Maintenance: Solid knowledge of hardware systems and their functionality, with the ability to proactively inspect, diagnose, and resolve issues to ensure reliable equipment performance.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ability to perform maintenance tasks with precision, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements through meticulous documentation and execution.
Collaborating: Skilled in working constructively with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and safety to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve issues efficiently.
Effective Communications: Capable of clearly conveying technical information, maintenance needs, and updates across various teams using appropriate communication tools and techniques.
Problem Solving: Proficient in identifying root causes of equipment failures and applying structured problem-solving methods to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at Boonville, MO the office.
Domestic relocation assistance is NOT available for this position. Any relocation costs incurred would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.

Summary Pay Range:
$71,040.00 - $106,440.00
