What does a successful Senior Appian Application Developer do at Fiserv?
As a Senior Appian Application Developer at Fiserv you will play a pivotal role in driving our enterprise automation efforts by designing and developing innovative application that enhance efficiency and minimize manual tasks. Your expertise will ensure outstanding client experiences through the creation of high-quality, user centric solutions.
This team acts as a center of excellence supporting all business areas of Fiserv around process and efficiency improvements, working with niche technologies to develop products and applications supporting other teams across the organization.
What you will do:
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using the Appian platform
- Build applications including interfaces, process flows, data types, and integrations
- Design and develop process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, and web services
- Guide development teams in implementing best practices for designing, testing, and deploying Appian solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to enhance application performance and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Appian applications with other systems and platforms
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise-level applications using object-oriented technology stacks
- 3+ years of experience as a Senior Appian Developer in developing enterprise applications using the Appian platform
- 3+ years of experience with Appian objects such as Process Models, Records, Reports, Rules, SAIL, Security, and Web APIs
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience
What would be great to have:
- Appian Lead Developer certification
- Experience in Java object-oriented technology
- Experience with UI Path Development
- Proficiency in SQL and user interfaces, with experience in relational database interactions
Important info about this role:
- This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity
- You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
